First Lady Jill Biden traveled to Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Monday to speak at an American Cancer Society NFL Crucial Catch Watch Party.
The first lady said, “Every October, the NFL shines a light on the importance of the cancer prevention and early detection through its Crucial Catch initiative. Teams, from coaches to players to broadcasters, come together to help Americans get the information they need to get screened for cancer.“
She stated, “I’m glad to join the NFL in its Crucial Catch effort once again, and look forward to doing so in years to come“ and added, “We can’t afford to wait another minute for better solutions, better treatments, better cures.“
First Lady Jill Biden and Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland visited the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin on Tuesday. The first lady and interior secretary will learn about the tribe’s sustainable forest management and partnership with wood flooring manufacturers.
